Life at the clinic

Raja Ampat Mission · Indonesia
Smiles for the islands of Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat’s remote islands are among the most beautiful places on earth, and among the hardest to reach for dental care. Our volunteer team of dentists, hygienists and helpers carried their equipment ashore and set up clinics in open-air halls and village classrooms, using portable dental beds and digital X-rays.
Schoolchildren and families received check-ups, cleanings and treatment, while young volunteers learned alongside experienced dentists.
